I received an ornament from another BLM today. She told me when she lost her girls (twins) she treasured her ornaments for them. She said that she pulls them out every year and thinks of the girls and feels they are included in the holidays. From this conversations with her, I have decided that our family tradition will be getting a new ornament for each child. Now we obviously don't have any children on Earth this year, but Wyatt will have a new christmas ornament waiting for him under the tree this year, and every year going forward. For now, Mommy and Daddy will open his ornament. But later on, when our future children (hopefully we can have more) are older, maybe we will include them in Wyatt's memory and have them open their brother's gift.Wyatt's Mommiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11319404957016434879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1439482583787601133.post-37680836722636455282010-08-17T18:47:59.234-07:002010-08-17T18:47:59.234-07:00I seriously think about Christmas all the time. I...I seriously think about Christmas all the time. It feels like someone is punching me in the stomach every time. My sister-in-law's twins are due in November, and it will be all about the new babies' first Christmas, but it should have been Owen's too. I am thinking I want to skip it this year, but not sure how the husband will feel about it. We'll see. I hope I'm making it worse in my mind than it will actually be. I'll hope the same for you.Whittneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03846959063445980451noreply@blogger.com
